Our History:

Good Shepherd Lutheran School, originally named “Little Lambs Christian

Academy”, was organized in 1998 as a Christian day school to serve the

spiritual and educational needs of the children of Good Shepherd Lutheran

Church and the Gulf Breeze/Navarre communities.

While we started out as a daycare facility; we have changed our mission and

serve our community as actual school, catering to our county’s youth in the

ages of 3 through 8th grade, including a very robust Voluntary Pre-

Kindergarten program. Good Shepherd Lutheran School strives to achieve a

high standard of academic excellence for its students to exceed the

educational standards set by the state of Florida. We are a proud part of a

nationwide system of more than 2,300 Lutheran schools operated by

Lutheran churches providing quality programs in Christian education.

Our Staff:

Our school is led by the Administrator and School Board President.  With the help of the faculty and staff, he/she proposes policies and procedures for the operation of the school and the welfare of the students. The Administration personnel is the primary contact person for faculty, parents, and the public in all areas of school operation.

Our teachers manage their classroom learning environments to provide a quality, Christ-centered instructional program. They are all certified educators. Our teachers seek to provide instruction which meets the individual needs of their students.
